The first half was awful from both teams and the only thing that Corby could claim was that they should have had a penalty when Mettam was dragged down in the area only for the referee to give the infringement just outsid the box.

Corby were just as bad in the second half and unfortunately fior them Workington picked up their game and began to look the more threatening of the two teams.

Just when we thought things couldn't get worse Workington were awarded a goal on 64 minutes which was hotly disputed by Corby players. The Steelmen were convinced the ball never crossed the line but the assistant referee decided differently.

In the 75th minute Mark Osborn raced from his line to try to beat Workington's Jonny Wright to the ball but Hh never made it half way and Wright easily lobbed the ball over his head.

Hopefully this was as bad as it is going to get from Corby at home and things must surely improve from now on.
