Southport 4 - 0 Corby Town (A)

Corby Town found Southport too hot to handle this afternoon at Haigh Avenue.
After just 18 minutes Ciaran Kilheeney opened the scoring and it was soon followed by another from Michael Powell.

At half time manager Graham Drury changed Shaw and Hibbert for McGhee and Diggin and for a while things looked much improved until Michael Powell added a third for the Sandgrounders.

A fourth always looked inevitable and so it was no surprise when Chris Simm scored to wrap up events.

A game for the Steelmen to put out of their minds as soon as possible and I am sure Graham Drury will be keen to repair the damage. Fortrunately he still has time this season to make it good.
