Corby Town 1 - 2 Solihull Moors (H)

Corby Town fans came along to the Triangle yesterday hoping the New Year was going to see an improvement with the home form of the Steelmen.

Wednesday at Stalybridge we left with our chests puffed out in pride at the excellent performance of the squad.

Unfortunately the effort must have drained them of every last bit of energy because Saturday's performance, against a very moderate Solihull Moors side, was dreadful.

The club are trying so hard to get people back to the Triangle but are being shot in the foot by their own players who simply didn't even look as if they were bothered.

For the recoed: Theo Streete opened the scoring for Solihull Moors after 71 minutes.
Steve Diggin equalised through a penalty kick after 80 minutes and Solihull scored the winner when Darren Stapleton shot home the winner in the 85th Minute.
