After the fog came the frost and the snow and the cold, but Steelmen fans who made the trip to the Triangle tonight couldn't have cared less because the Steelmen won at last at home and against Droylsden who are one of their competitors for a place in the play-offs.

A great run down the right wing afetr six minutes by Brett Solkhon and a super cross found Paul Mayo who had gambled on just such a ball reaching him and the Steelmen were ahead.

After that there were chances at both ends but Corby looked the more resolute and so the three points came to the Triangle at last.
