Northampton Town ran out winners at the Rockingham Triangle by 2-1 this afternoon.

Courtney Herbert opened the scoring after 36 minutes. Ben Mackey equalised for the Steelmen after 50 minutes but that was short lived as Northampton went ahead when Steve Guinan made it 2-1.

Chris MacKenzie saved a penalty from Ryan Gilligan after 65 minutes.

The attendance was 528.
